2 Corinthians 6:18

New International Version (NIV)

“I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.”

New Living Translation (NLT)

“And I will be your Father,
and you will be my sons and daughters,

“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,

What is the meaning of 2 Corinthians 6:18?

This verse is a promise from God that He will be a loving and nurturing father to those who follow Him and that they will be His children, loved and cared for by Him. It is a reminder that God is a loving and merciful God who desires to have a relationship with His people and to care for them in all things.
